Leonard P. 'Spud' Loveless, 82, Lebanon, died Wednesday in St.  Vincent Hospital, Indianapolis.
 
Mr. Loveless owned L & W Men's Wear at Lebanon for 16  years, and later Leonard's Ladies Sportswear for several years.  He attended Manchester College and was active in their alumni. He  was a member of the Boys & Girls Club, serving as president  for several years, and Lebanon Centenary United Methodist  Church.
 
He was born June 2, 1921, at Clarks Hill, to Adam and Easter  Peterson Loveless. He married Edna Ganell Bymaster. She died Jan.  23, 1991.
 
Survivors include a son, Steven, Lebanon; a sister, Frances  Ryker, Darlington; and two grandchildren.
 
Funeral services are scheduled 2 p.m. Monday in Russell &  Hitch Funeral Home, 223 N. Meridian St., Lebanon, with the Rev.  Dennis Deeter officiating. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery,  Lebanon. Friends may call 2-6 p.m. Sunday.
 
Memorials may be made to the Lebanon Boys & Girls Club or  Methodist Children's Home.
